Car Subscription Services Proliferate – Mobility-as-a-Service. Jan’20 witnessed players like Honda and Carly launching subscription-based services in Japan and NZ respectively. Several players received investment this month, incl. Zoom, Bolt and Park+. Further, we also saw Uber and SFK developing new technologies in Mobility- as-a-service domain, as well as industry collaborations from Didi and Ridecell. Finally, our spotlight focuses on Origin, Cruise’s electric driverless car designed for ridesharing.
