Electrify America is investing $2 million in solar-powered electric vehicle charging stations to increase access to EV charging for rural Californians who are not connected to the electrical grid. The project envisages placement of 30 durable, solar-powered EV ARCâ„¢ which provides ease and flexibility in installation. The development highlights an increased focus on providing reliable and low-cost EV charging solutions to the population living outside of major metropolitan areas. Also, it highlights the shift towards green charging solution by supplying EV chargers with renewable energy.
