H2 2019 saw innovation in different types of HUDs launched in H2’19. Displays are getting bigger flexible and curved. Players are working on innovation in terms of integrating 3D and holography in displays. Voice assistants are getting more advanced with the incorporation of emotional intelligence. New start-ups are emerging which are developing solutions to address the issues faced during speech recognition in voice control. Finally, our Academic Research Synopsis shows that publications concentrated on face/eye tracking, followed by gesture control to support applications of passenger monitoring in HMI and provide a greater degree of personalization.
